Hang Heung White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake

Hang Heung is the first to create its own recipe for the signature silky white lotus paste. Hang Heung’s famous Double-yolk White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake is the most traditional classic flavor. Each salted yolk precisely measures a 15g to promise mouthfuls of traditional delight that elevate the mid-autumn festival experience.

The white Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake is made with premium Xiangtan lotus that measures exactly 12.5mm – each plump and pristine – and by Hang Heung pastry chefs who have 40 plus years of experience via conventional frying in copper woks so to preserve the refreshing aromas of the white lotus seeds.

Five Nuts Mooncake

Five nuts carry a meaning of harmony. The assorted five nuts in this mooncake are symbolic of the father, mother, husband, wife and child – the family. Featuring a paste made with premium nuts such as Indian almond, walnut, apricot kernel, melon seed and sesame, the Five Nuts Mooncake drips with sweet aromas. From washing to ingredient selection, drying to mixing, every step of production is pedantically monitored by Hang Heung’s seasoned pastry chefs.

Red Bean Paste Mooncake with Mandarin Peel

恆香首創自家白蓮蓉,傳統雙黃白蓮蓉月餅遠近馳名,更於香港元朗自設蓮蓉廠,選用頂級湘潭貢蓮,被譽爲“中國第一蓮子”,每顆12.5毫米大小,爲古代朝廷貢品。湘蓮粒大飽滿,潔白圓潤,由擁有四十多年經驗的恆香老師傅手工製作,當中「鏟蓮蓉」的工序繁多嚴謹,以古法銅鑊炒煮,保存純正白蓮蓉清、甜、香三大重要元素,火喉及時間必須拿捏準確,更需不斷加熱攪拌數小時,直至糖分和濕度達至完美比例,細膩甘香的恆香白蓮蓉就此誕生。
